About NICK

Nick Fabiano is a renowned Director and Digital Studio Executive. His expansive portfolio, comprising over a thousand videos, has garnered billions of views across various platforms.

His studio feature 'Puppy Love',  produced by BuzzFeed Studios, Lionsgate, and Amazon Studios, stars Lucy Hale ('Pretty Little Liars' and 'The Hating Game') and Grant Gustin ('The Flash' and 'Glee'). He Co-Directed the movie with BuzzFeed Studio Head, Richard Alan Reid.

This film was officially released on August 18th, 2023, as an Amazon Freevee Original (notably recognized for 'Jury Duty') and was distributed internationally by MGM in theaters. Additionally, it was made available on-demand through Amazon Prime and AppleTV. Notably, it achieved the rank of #12 among the Top Movies on AppleTV after its release.

In addition to film, Nick contributes his directorial expertise to commercial advertising. Most recently he spearheaded the internal creative agency for ClickUp, a tech firm worth $4 billion, where he has directed over 100 commercials in the past three years, including a notable Super Bowl spot in 2022 and a well received national commercial that ran during the 2022 Olympics.

Nick co-founded "The Dad", a lifestyle brand celebrating modern fatherhood, where he served as the Head of Content Studio and Creative Director. Under his leadership, The Dad achieved a 10-million-strong following and was eventually acquired by Bustle. Nick played a significant role in the creation of over 200 original videos, 20+ series franchises, and 30+ branded videos for The Dad. His successful and innovative projects include the viral sensation AphukenbrakE (which also became a TikTok trend) and the five-episode series featuring Dodgers Pitcher Clayton Kershaw, sponsored by Kroger Co.

Prior to The Dad, Nick served as the Executive Producer of Branded Video for BuzzFeed. He co-wrote and directed “Puppyhood”, a series in collaboration with Purina that ranked #3 in AdWeek's "Most Viral Ads" and #5 in Business Insider’s "10 Best Ads of 2015". The series became the most successful program in BuzzFeed and Purina history, boasting over 250 million views to date. The film “Puppy Love” is a cinematic adaptation of Nick's “Puppyhood” series.

Nick also co-founded the San Diego-based creative studio, Halogen Cinema.
